A new study finds that when it comes to keeping your feet warm, rubber boots can be a big deal.

The results of the study are in the June issue of The American Journal of Preventive Medicine, and they’re not all that encouraging.

Rubber soles don’t protect the wearer’s feet well from the elements, but the research indicates they’re less likely to get cold feet than barefoot boots.

“We’re not saying rubber soleds are a panacea.

But if you are getting cold feet or have a lot of respiratory problems, it can be important to wear a pair of rubber boots to help cool them down.”
